10:30 AM: Grade 5-6-7
11:45 AM: Grade 8 & 9
SATURDAY MARCH 3- SHEEHAN HIGH SCHOOL
2:30 PM: Grade 5-6-7
3:45 PM: Grade 8-9
SUNDAY MARCH 4- SHEEHAN HIGH SCHOOL
10:30 PM: Grade 5-6-7
11:45: Grade 8-9
Players are asked to attend all three tryouts if possible. We realize that their may be conflicts with travel. Please contact us if their are any conflicts. The more a coach is able to evaluate a player the better the evaluation will be.

Hoopstar Philosophy
The Connecticut Hoopstars began in 1999 with just one 5th grade team and has grown into one of the most successful programs in the state. We have won numerous state championships as well as a 5th place finish in nationals.
Our philosophy is to teach the game of basketball and have a fun and positive experience. The main focus is on improving our players as opposed to winning. We feel that kids who play AAU basketball are looking to get more out of basketball than the typical high school/middle school player. We are committed to helping our players improve and attain the goals that they have set forth for themselves. As players advance through the program they will be given the opportunities to showcase their abilities in various tournaments in order to help them attain their primary goals.
Our coaching staff is composed of high school and middle school coaches, officials and former high school and college players. All of our coaches share the philosophy and place an emphasis on practice time in order to help all players improve. They are all positive, supportive and knowledgeable.
